Blah day...

The plan for Thanksgiving was to go over to my friend Brea's house in Belfast and show her and her roommates what Thanksgiving is since they don't have it here in Ireland but that isn't happening anymore. Brea texted me today to let me know that she wrecked her car and that we were going to need to cancel our plans. I completely understand and it's really not a big deal but at the same time it is. Has nothing to do with them and everything to do with me...it just going to make it harder to be away from home for Thanksgiving to have no Thanksgiving plans. I'll live though. I came here knowing that I was not going to be home for Thanksgiving and there will be another one next year and all the years to come. (I can tell myself that as many times as I want and it still doesn't make me feel better...).

I'm starting to get to the point where I know I'm getting a lot closer to being able to go home and see everyone, yet it is still about a month away. I find myself wishing it could just be my last week and that my parents would be here this coming weekend but I've got a couple more weeks left and a LOT of school work left. Don't get me wrong...I'm so glad that I chose to do this and I've had lots of fun and made some amazing memories AND I'm still really excited to go to Paris and Scotland in a couple weekends but I can't help but be most excited for my parents to get here and then get to go home.

Anyways...done with the sad stuff and onto my day. I only have one class on Wednesday's and it's just an hour long lecture for Sociology. I didn't pay great attention because I'm down to the point where I pretty much know already which subjects I'm going to choose to discuss on my final and we've already gone over them. I'm still going to keep going to class...but the last couple weeks of lecture are a little pointless for me. I also went into Belfast for a little bit. I needed shampoo and I also got a new thing of tea because I had run out. I have a few more people that I need to find souvenirs for so after I got the things I needed I headed over to Victoria Square to look and see if I could find anything. Apparently today wasn't the day cause I didn't see anything that would work.

I've been listening to an artist I just recently came across and downloaded her album from itunes and have enjoyed listening to it most of my day. If you like christian music check out Jamie Grace...she's pretty amazing.

Today's been a little sucky and I've just been in a yucky funk so I'm just going to go to bed. It's only 11pm...think this is about the earliest I've gone to bed this whole semester.
