Today is my LAST day of being on this campus (other than tomorrow when I show my parents around and move out) and tonight is my LAST night sleeping in this room. It's crazy how incredibly fast this semester has gone. Although some study days and weekends alone have gone by slow this 4 month journey seems like it just started and now I'm getting ready for my parents to get here tomorrow morning! I just called and set up a time for a taxi to pick me up and take me to the airport at 10:15am tomorrow so I can pick them up and get this 10 day adventure with them started!!!!!
I saw a university sweatshirt yesterday that I REALLY want...but the university shop was not open when I went there yesterday, or the two times I dropped by today. I think they are just not open at all on weekends, but there are no hours posted anywhere!!! So...I'm either going to try to stop in with my parents on Tuesday before we head for Dublin, or Ally said that I can give her some cash and she would go and purchase one for me and bring it with her when she comes to join us in London.
I've kind of wasted today away...I skyped with Kay for a bit and watched a few movies but most everyone has either already left or doesn't want to go do anything because this whole semester has drained everyone's wallets haha. It's a good thing my parents get here tomorrow because I'm getting very close to running out of movies I can find to watch on YouTube.
When I get back home I have about 2.5 weeks of hanging out with Robert and just relaxing and then I start working! My mom's bank where I have helped out the past couple summers is losing one of their employees in February and I get to take on the spot!!! No job searching after graduation for me...phew!
So...my experience studying abroad is coming to an end, followed by a great vacation planned for my parents and me, a couple weeks of relaxing and then I start working! Crazy!!!
My parents are flying right now and have been since 7am this morning. Can't wait to see them!!!! :)
